Hi, I'm Amanda, a Louisville-based artist with a BFA in Painting from the Hite Art Institute and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Louisville. My journey led me to pursue a Master's in Art Therapy, which I earned in 2023. Currently, I work as an art therapist, primarily serving Louisville’s population of adults experiencing severe mental illness and homelessness, while continuing my journey as an artist, stylist, self taught makeup artist, treasure hunter, maker, and reseller.

With a passion for sustainability, I often incorporate second-hand or found materials, infusing vibrant colors into my mixed-media pieces. As a tetrachromat, I explore the nuances of color and texture, aiming to evoke a fierce energy of acceptance, compassion, and freedom. Beyond painting, I sew and contribute to interactive festival installations, like the geodesic dome with live butterflies at Firefly Festival 2019 and the “Disco Dome” for Portland’s Friendsfest 2025. My art is a reflection of my belief in collective liberation, radical self-expression, and the alchemical power of creativity.
